Each Short Run was developed as a project that utilized rare and aged tobaccos for small-batch limited production that started in 2010 ending in 2016. The new E.P. Carrillo Short Run Retro 2021 uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. I don’t smoke a ton of EPC cigars and I wonder why. Pretty much everything I’ve had from him has been a real winner. Flavors were great. Toasted nuts, cedar and some floral notes drift in and out. Construction was beautiful. The price on this is insane compared to what you’re getting.

It’s hard to find a bad Carrillo stick and this is no exception. Excllent flavour, draw and construction. Definitely worth trying!

This smooth flavorful cigar was nicely blended by Ernesto while listening to Chick Corea. I really enjoyed this cigar. I got some toasted nuttiness with floral notes on it.
