If you purchase this product you will earn The Padron family developed the Serie 1926 cigar in commemoration of the family’s patriarch, Jose Orlando Padron`s 75th Birthday. (Jose was born in Cuba in 1926.) The cigar debuted in 2002 on Jose’s 76th birthday, one year later than planned. As with all things Padron, their cigars cannot be rushed. The Nicaraguan tobaccos used in the Padron Serie 1926 have been aged for a minimum of five long years. The 1926 Padron is a great, full-bodied, box-pressed cigar with the aroma of well-aged, mature tobacco right out of the box. It’s a complex smoke with perfect balance, showing flavors of chocolate, coffee, nuts, and a hint of black cherry. The cigar has a finish so long it seems to never leave the palate. The Padron Serie 1926 scored one of the highest ratings in the history of Cigar Aficionado. The 97 rating is an amazing feat for a recent-production cigar.

You can never go wrong with Padron, but these 48 beasts bring it to another level. Luxurious smoke with perfect draw and burn. Buckle up for an hour and half ride that will melt your worries away!

I love that the size of the different Padrons within a line really affect the cigar so much. The 48 is one of the most powerful 26s, outside of the no. 90’s, but I think it’s more balanced. Absolutely fantastic cigar.

This 48 is a brute, and I mean that in the most positive sense! Set aside at least an hour and a half and prepare to be blown away! Everything that makes the 1926 line so special, but with the 48 it’s there in spades…this amplifier goes to 11. Boatloads of dark chocolate, dark roasted espresso, with hints of allspice and caramel; this beauty has it all. Thick, luxuriously textured smoke, with great depth of flavor. Full bodied and intense; if Godzilla smoked cigars, he’d probably choose the Padron 1926 Anniversary No. 48 Maduro!
