A great flavor bomb. Perfect construction, burned great. Different from a lot of what I’ve seen from Warped, but they nailed this. I wish I could add pictures to the review, the wrapper on this is incredible. Dark, oily, and super super toothy, leaving your ash covered in those little flavor spots. I started with a fiver, had one, and will be ordering more.

I’ve been moving through Warped’s offerings since trying the Drop sampler from Oxford a few months back and noticed the lack of darker wrapper cigars. This is not necessarily a bad thing for me, Warped are fast becoming a staple in my burgeoning collection so I was curious how this SA wrapped offering would fare.
As a fairly new member of this hobby one thing I am learning is bigger does not equal better for me, especially when it comes to maduro type wrappers. The Companion is a tasty little bugger that burns and tastes great and doesn’t have that typical dark stick spicy kick. I started off with a five pack and immediately ordered another, as long as these are around I’ll keep some on hand.

This is another warped offering that’s much different from their usual presentation and flavor profile…. in this case that is not a negative! the dark wrapper and the mint green of the band make for an amazing presentation. The construction from the factory is top notch, in all my samples I had no issues with weak ash or poor draws with a normal straight cut. This is definitely a more robust option from warped. Plenty of earth and pepper throughout. If that’s the type of cigar your palate gravitates towards, you’ll love this one!
