The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series line was introduced in 1994 to commemorate Padron’s 30th anniversary. This line consists of eleven sizes that are all available in sun-grown natural and Maduro wrappers. All tobacco used in this limited production series is aged for four years, creating a smooth and complex flavor. In honor of the age-old Cuban tradition of box pressing cigars, the 1964 Anniversary line was introduced as a box-pressed series. This is easily 5 Star cigar and box worthy. There is your classic rich and full-bodied Padron 1964 profile flavor notes of cocoa, earth and nutmeg. This lonsdale has a slight variation of gentle sweet caramel and cinnamon finish with an ideal pinch of pepper.

The 1964 Anniversary never disappoints. I’m not sure if this is my favorite vitola, but this cigar was super flavorful, chocolatey, earthy, and everything you could want from a Padron.

Great construction, and a wonderful cigar, but there are several other sizes in the 1964 series that I prefer. Notes of dark roasted coffee, cocoa, leather and earth. Good mouthfeel and depth.
