My Father Le Bijou 1922
Experience the legacy of cigar craftsmanship with My Father Le Bijou 1922, a full-bodied masterpiece handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua. Created by the renowned Garcia family, this cigar pays homage to José “Pepin” Garcia’s father, whose birth year, 1922, is immortalized in its name. “Le Bijou,” meaning “The Jewel” in French, perfectly encapsulates the richness and elegance found in every draw.
Each cigar is meticulously rolled using a lustrous, dark Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, enveloping a robust blend of aged Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. This combination delivers a bold, Cuban-style smoking experience with a complex flavor profile. Expect commanding notes of leather, earth, espresso beans, and dark cocoa, layered with a signature spice that lingers from start to finish. Subtle hints of vanilla, tiramisu, and dark chocolate add further depth, making each session both intense and refined.
The construction is exemplary, featuring a triple cap in true Cuban tradition and a flawless box-pressed finish on select vitolas. The aroma is intoxicating, the burn is even, and the smoke is rich and satisfying. Recognized with a prestigious 97 rating and crowned #1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado in 2015, My Father Le Bijou 1922 stands as a testament to the Garcia family’s passion and dedication to quality.

This is a masterful cigar, built and blended by the best. It’s bold and spicy, full of flavors from dark chocolate and cayenne, to clove and espresso. If cigars had a beauty contest it would be hard to imagine man contender that could beat this cigar. The wrapper looks good enough to eat and the band from MF are always exceptional. Nicotine strength on the Le Bijou is about a 7 or 8 out of ten, so stay away or smoke slow if you’re sensitive.

Draw superb with spicy, toasty notes with a brioche finish. Long ash and extremely high quality. Would recommend to a choice cigar enthusiast. The quality and value ratio can’t be beat.

I enjoyed a My Father Le Bijou 1922 Churchill for my recent anniversary and My Father did not disappoint. Presenting a creamy, earthy, woodsy profile along with a near perfect burn that lasted well over an hour. This vitola was excellent but I would love to try the others too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cigar to a novice or a seasoned enthusiast.

I really liked this cigar. La Opulencia was my favorite for quite some time, but after Lucas introduced me to this one, this easily is the best My Father.
