Shipping Procedures
All products will be shipped via the United States Postal Service or UPS.
The average delivery time for all shipments within the contiguous United States for the standard delivery option is between 3 and 5 business days. Sometimes product delivery time varies depending on in-stock availability and/or arrival from manufacturers and distributors. Other delivery options are available for an additional cost. Contact support for more information on shipping options available.
Due to state-mandated restrictions, Oxford Cigar Company does not ship tobacco products to Utah. All domestic orders require an adult signature for delivery to be accepted.
In the state of California, it is now required that there be an adult present (over 21) to sign and accept delivery of all tobacco shipments and for a call confirmation with the consumer after 5 pm Pacific Time on business days. Tobacco products cannot be shipped to Post Office Boxes in the State of California. This is in compliance with California Senate Bill 39. All shipments headed to Hawaii will also comply with Hawaii Senate Bill No. 975 S.D.2.
Title & Risk of Loss
Title to, and risk of loss of, all merchandise passes to the buyer upon our delivery of the shipment to the carrier (USPS or UPS). Once a shipment is in the carrier’s possession, Oxford Cigar Company is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, delay, or misdelivery occurring in transit, except as provided under the Package Protection policy below or as required by applicable law.
Oxford Cigar Company is not responsible for shipments that are lost, delayed, or returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address supplied by the customer. Reshipment of any order returned to us for this reason will be at the customer’s expense.
Package Protection Policy (ShipInsure)
We’ve partnered with ShipInsure — a package protection solution — to protect your order if it is lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit.
- ShipInsure protection is offered at checkout for a small fee and is optional on domestic orders.
- If you decline ShipInsure protection at checkout, you accept full risk of loss, theft, or damage in transit. In that case, your sole remedy for a lost, stolen, or damaged shipment is a claim filed with the carrier (USPS or UPS), and Oxford Cigar Company is not obligated to replace or refund the order.
- If you purchased ShipInsure protection and experience an issue with your order, please file a claim through the ShipInsure claims portal at https://www.shipinsure.io/claims. Approved claims are resolved by ShipInsure as a replacement, repair, or refund, in accordance with ShipInsure’s Terms & Conditions (https://www.shipinsure.io/terms). The buyer must wait for the outcome of the ShipInsure or carrier claim investigation prior to receiving a replacement product, partial refund, or full refund.
- ShipInsure coverage is limited to the declared value of the eligible item(s), up to $5,000 per shipment, and excludes shipping fees, taxes, and duties. ShipInsure’s Terms & Conditions govern all claims and control in the event of any conflict with this summary.
Claim filing windows (per ShipInsure’s Terms & Conditions):
- Lost in transit (not delivered): file no sooner than 7 days after the last carrier tracking scan (20 days for international shipments), and no later than 30 days after the last scan.
- Marked delivered but not received: file no sooner than 5 days after the carrier marks the package “delivered,” and no later than 30 days after delivery. A carrier scan showing delivery to the address provided at checkout, together with the adult-signature record where applicable, constitutes proof of delivery. Claims for packages marked delivered must be filed with ShipInsure (if protection was purchased) or with the carrier; Oxford Cigar Company does not directly refund or replace orders that the carrier’s records show as delivered.
- Damaged: file within 30 days of delivery and provide photographs of the damaged merchandise and packaging. Please retain all packing material and also notify us at info@oxfordcigarcompany.com or by calling us during our normal business hours at +1 (833) 742-4427 or (407) 358-7210.
Chargebacks: If you experience a covered shipping issue, you agree to pursue the ShipInsure claim process (or carrier claim, if protection was declined) before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider for the same loss.
Note: Orders placed prior to our transition to ShipInsure may have been protected by Route, our previous package protection partner. If your order included Route protection, please file your claim through Route’s claims portal. The Route app remains available on the Android and Apple app stores for tracking those orders.
Returns & Exchanges Policy
Oxford Cigar Company stands behind every product we sell and wants you, the customer, to be happy with your purchase(s). Our satisfaction guarantee applies to domestic U.S. orders in accordance with the return policy below; all international orders are final as set forth in the International Orders Terms & Conditions. Should you find that something is not to your satisfaction, we ask that you call us, and we will make the proper arrangements to remedy the situation. We will gladly refund or exchange any merchandise in its original packaging within 14 days of receipt of your order. If you need to return an item, please send it INSURED via UPS or USPS to our shipping address of 8815 Conroy Windermere Road, Suite 275, Orlando, Florida 32835. Please notify us before returning any items.
On cigar boxes, bundles, packs, or samplers (any count): store credit for exchanges or returns will be prorated based on the number of cigars not consumed.
All “dollar off” and “percentage off” coupons will be prorated based on the dollar value of the products returned. If Return Guidelines are exceeded, the credit will be prorated based on the number of cigars consumed. “Free offers or Promotional Items,” included with some box orders, must also be returned with the box/boxes to receive proper credit.
The buyer must pay for return shipping to exchange or obtain a refund on their original purchase order.
All refunds are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
All Pre-Order cancellations are subject to a 15% cancellation fee if the customer cancels their product allocation.
Original shipping will be fully refunded only when one of the following is true:
- Defective merchandise
- The wrong item was shipped due to our error
- Damaged in transit (subject to the claim investigation outcome described in the Package Protection Policy)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The above refund policies for original shipping costs apply to domestic U.S. customers only. For international orders, original shipping costs are non-refundable due to the significantly higher costs associated with international shipping, customs processing, and insurance. International customers will receive refunds or store credit for the product value only, excluding all shipping charges, and only where a refund is available under these terms. This policy helps us manage the substantial expenses of international logistics and protect against fraudulent claims.
If you would like to return merchandise, the merchandise must have been purchased within the last 14 days, AND you must obtain an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization) from Oxford Cigar Company. You may do so in one of two ways:
- Email us at info@oxfordcigarcompany.com. You MUST include your order number, the item you are returning, and the reason you are returning the merchandise.

Notice: No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.
Once you have obtained an RMA#, please follow these simple guidelines to return your cigars:
- IMPORTANT! Please DO NOT return any cut or partially smoked cigars. Cigars believed to be unsmokable or defective must still be in a condition to be sent back to the manufacturer. If returns are received in less than adequate condition, our Returns Department reserves the right to refuse the package and/or deny or pro-rate your credit accordingly.
- Please pack the cigars securely in a clean, odor-free carton suitable for shipping.
- Enclose your original invoice in the carton, if possible.

International Orders Terms & Conditions
- Orders must ship to a valid billing and shipping address for the credit card used to place the order.
- NO lighters with butane or fuel can be shipped internationally due to flight restrictions of FAA regulations.
- All international orders ship United States Postal Service via Priority Mail International or Priority Mail International Express services. Delivery costs vary from region to region based on the weight and value of the order shipment.
- All delivery times vary due to Customs clearance in each given country.
- Risk of loss. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon our delivery of the shipment to the carrier. By placing an international order, the customer agrees to assume ALL RISK for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or seized shipments. Oxford Cigar Company strongly recommends purchasing ShipInsure package protection at checkout on all international orders. Customers who decline package protection do so at their own risk and acknowledge that Oxford Cigar Company will not replace or refund international shipments that are lost, stolen, damaged, or seized in transit or by customs. Please note that under ShipInsure’s Terms & Conditions, seizure by customs or other authorities is an excluded event and is not covered even when package protection is purchased; by placing an international order the customer accepts the risk of seizure in full.
- Any duties, taxes, and import fees incurred in the shipment are the sole responsibility of the customer. If the customer should refuse to pay the duties and taxes after the order has shipped, and the order is returned to Oxford Cigar Company, we will not refund the original shipping charge; in addition, the customer will be responsible for any return shipping charges, duties, fees, and taxes incurred.
- In the event that a country listed with no tobacco restrictions refuses to clear customs and the shipment is returned, the customer will not be refunded the shipment cost.
- All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment.
- All international orders (orders shipped to destinations outside the United States) are FINAL and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, except where a claim is approved under a purchased ShipInsure protection plan.
- On all international orders, it is the sole duty of the customer to be compliant with the local & federal laws of each destination country. Oxford Cigar Company is not responsible for shipments refused, seized, destroyed, or returned by customs or other authorities of the destination country.
- All communication with Oxford Cigar Company will be in English.
- All credit/debit card sales information must be verified before the shipment of the order.
