Detailed Description
The Aladino Maduro Box Pressed combines the best of two worlds—the sweetness and strength of San Andrés maduro and the nuanced complexity of authentic Honduran Corojo. Each cigar begins with a rush of cocoa powder, black pepper, and leather, quickly joined by earth, toasted cedar, and a core of rich, sweet spice. Flavors are balanced and bold but never overwhelming, thanks to the blend’s signature smoothness. The box-pressed format intensifies the wrapper’s contribution, delivering greater sweetness and a cool, slower burn. Every cigar is expertly rolled at Fabrica de Puros Aladino, guaranteeing classic long ash and outstanding construction in every ring gauge.
Full-bodied yet harmonious, the Maduro Box Pressed is equally suited for aficionados seeking strength and for those exploring the darker side of Honduran boutique cigars. Another absolute banger from Julian and Justo. I’m not the biggest fan of San Andreas, but when it’s done we’ll it can be really good. This is an example of that. The earth and spice of the wrapper really plays perfectly with that sweet and smoky corojo that Aladino is famous for. Might have to pick up a box of these.

If you enjoy a dark mocha-like Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper for a nice kick over Honduras Corojo binder and filler, this cigar is for you. This fine box press hits a sweet spot for a medium cigar with flavor and taste that is a delight. This cigar delivers the bold subtleties of Corojo tobacco. The cigar started out with bitter almond and once the cigar warmed up I was getting bright notes of sweet cedar, almonds, espresso coffee beans and an earthy finish. It is a well-balanced smoke.
