Typical Fuente flavors here. Some spice, cedar and nuttiness along with some sweet tobacco. As always with Fuente, construction and draw were both impeccable. Good but not great, still enjoyable though.

To be frank, there is nothing special at all with those connecticut wrapper. It’s not the best bang per buck in terms of mild cigars and the flavour is very one dimension. I would recommend AF’s cameroon wrapper offering instead for a much better experience.

Pretty similar in profile to the chateau Rothschild, just more of it. I’m not a huge fan of that cedar/cardboard/pepper profile I always get from these, so that’s not really a selling point. I know a lot of people smoke these, they’ve been around forever and they are very consistent and priced right, just not for me.
