Everything about it says smooth and mild. A smooth, easy draw produces a satisfyingly large amount of smoke. The profile is light, starting with a bit of pepper, which fades, over a base of cedar and light oak with occasional hints of chocolate and spice. Sounds simple, but there is good complexity as well. This is a top quality cigar. And don’t let the small size (4.5×50) fool you. There is a good 75 minutes of smoking pleasure here.

This is right there with the Privada No. 1. Earthy, a little musty, bready, and overall a bit boring. It’s something to smoke, and it performs well enough. For the price I have no objections, and they are unbelievably consistent year after year. Just not the style for me.

I like most AF stuff. Even the run of the mill offerings. I love Rothschild vitola because it’s a quick smoke that always pleases. With this I’m getting those classic peanut shell, hay and grassy notes. I always get those distinct AF flavors because they know how to age tobacco properly. I’m also getting some toasted cedar on these. Even though Fuente makes a very reasonably priced stick in this version there is great craftsmanship and construction to this. Draw is great and burn is good. Great tasting stick at a even better price!
