Flavor Experience
Royalty opens with cedar and leather notes that establish the blend’s refined Dominican character immediately. As the cigar progresses, cocoa and coffee emerge alongside gentle spice, creating layered complexity that unfolds throughout the smoke. The middle section introduces hints of cinnamon and creamy, nutty sweetness that balance the earthier foundation, while the aged Nicaraguan fillers contribute smooth transitions between flavor phases without harsh edges or bitter notes.
The Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper contributes both visual drama and flavor intensity, with its dark, oily appearance translating into rich aromatics and concentrated taste on the palate. Each vitola expresses the core blend differently, with the Corona offering concentrated flavors in a traditional format, the Robusto Real delivering classic proportions, and the Toro extending the experience for leisurely sessions. The medium body makes Royalty approachable yet sophisticated, satisfying both newcomers to boutique cigars and seasoned enthusiasts seeking everyday refinement.

That Black Label was very nice, smooth medium body, but tasty and aromatic, a solid hour and ten minutes smoke that will repeat for sure.

Royalty 5.5×42. The cigar burned well with a tight burn line that required no re-lights or touch ups. The draw was a little tighter than I prefer, but okay, and smoke production was moderate. The cigar left a dry mouth feel. Right from the jump it weighs in with dark chocolate/coffee and some bitterness, which becomes more leathery as the smoke proceeds. There was some sweet bread and dried fruit on the retrohale, but there could have been a little more to balance the base flavors, in my opinion. Not a bad cigar, but a little heavy for my taste.

I don’t smoke a lot from this company but felt this was a solid offering from them. It’s not your average Connecticut. There is a little more power and flavor to this. I’m getting woody notes, slight pepper and a creamy finish. The flavors in the corona were solid and gave me what I was wanting out of this. At a sub $7 price point you absolutely cannot go wrong with this.

A Connecticut with a little more umph. White pepper, woodiness, cinnamon and a hint of vanilla sweetness. A great Connecticut to have stocked in the humi.

Not your grandfather’s conneticut. Still creamy and nutty, everything you love about a good conneticut, but it has a ton of flavor too. White pepper and oak, cinnamon and vanilla bean. Can’t get enough of them.
