La Barba Cigars
La Barba, meaning “the beard” in Spanish, is a boutique cigar brand founded in 2010 by Tony Bellatto and Craig Rossi—two Ohio-based cigar enthusiasts who named the company after their signature facial hair and branded it with gothic imagery and a straight-razor logo. Originally produced at Christian Eiroa’s Aladino factory in Honduras, La Barba relocated production to Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic in 2014 alongside close collaborator Robert Caldwell, and now offers acclaimed lines including the La Barba Red (Dominican wrapper, binder, and filler), La Barba Purple (Ecuadorian HVA wrapper with rare Dominican Carbonell filler), and the Ricochet series, delivering medium to full-bodied cigars with rich notes of chocolate, raisin, cinnamon, cedar, pepper, leather, and dried fruit.
