La Barba Ricochet Crü Claro Lancero measures 7 x 40 is based on the original Richochet blend that was never released when the company transitioned to a different factory. The Ricochet Crü Claro utilizes a Connecticut Shade wrapper over an Indonesian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Pennsylvania. Each La Barba Ricochet Lancero is limited to 100 bundles of 10 cigars.

I enjoyed this cigar. It’s light but not lacking flavor or substance. It’s starts with a dry pepper and spice blend, coriander and clove are the first things to come to mind. Then it quickly mellows out, hay and cedar mixed with peanut brittle. The molasses quality of the flavor that makes me think of good brittle comes through on the retro and really adds a satisfying element to the flavors. The construction was pretty good on my sample, a few times the burn line started getting almost to the point of touch up but always corrected itself with theme. The draw was beautiful throughout.

Let me begin by saying this cigar is not worth the price. I am a big fan of the La Barba purple but this is a far cry compared. There is also no band on the cigar. The strength is more towards medium than mild and the profile taste messy. Only the retrohale is slightly interesting.
