Lure Cigars is a premium craft cigar brand founded in 2023 by Lou Cross III as a heartfelt tribute to his late father, Lou Cross Jr., a lifelong outdoorsman, avid fisherman, and cigar enthusiast who passed away at age 90. Built around the motto “Tackle & Tobacco,” Lure Cigars unites the rituals of fishing and cigar smoking, encouraging enthusiasts to “Smoke Great Cigars & Tell Tall Tales.” All Lure cigars are handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, at La Tabacaria and Tabacalera Pages, and distributed nationally by Valacari Cigars. The lineup includes the Lure Habano featuring a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 wrapper over an Ometepe binder with Estelí and Jalapa fillers, the Lure Corojo, the Lure Oscuro in a dark Nicaraguan double Maduro wrapper, and the Lure Maduro Series—a Nicaraguan puro with filler tobaccos from Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa.
