I got all 4 casdagli brothers of the Sabre, this one is my second favorite right behind the forrador. Such a great cigar, definitely deserves the piramide vitola. Get a box, you will not regret it.

This cigar was an outstanding experience, a true pleasure from start to finish. It’s perfect for enthusiasts of similar blends like the Sobremesa Brûlée or La Colmena. It offers a medium body with a touch of mild strength. The first third introduced a lovely creamy sweetness reminiscent of dulce de leche, balanced with notes of cedar, nuts, and a subtle hint of café au lait. As it progressed into the second third, the sweetness mellowed, allowing the nutty flavors to take center stage, complemented by buttery toast and a more pronounced coffee essence. The final third maintained this evolution, becoming slightly less sweet while emphasizing wood, toast, and rich coffee flavors.

These are great. Bold, a little spice, cedar, earth, hints of liquorice and some other nuances I can’t quite pinpoint. Excellent offering and a great smoke to revisit many times.

As always, this Casdagli cigar performs exceptionally well. The burn and draw were flawless, something I have come to expect from Casdagli. The cigar started with a hint of citrus on the light, giving way to mostly woody and toasted tobacco notes for the remainder of the smoke. It did feel a little one-dimensional to me compared to the Forrader, but it was still an exceptional cigar I would smoke any day of the week!

Smooth, creamy, woodsy and nuts. Great anytime of the day cigar. I’ll be keeping these stocked in the humi for sure. Well done again by Casdagli per usual.

This reminds me of a Davidoff Grand Cru – elegant, mild, nuanced. The tobacco is clearly well-aged and cared for; there is no ‘pepper’, no harshness, no unwelcome flavours. The palate is mild leather, coffee (I’d say Brazilian with its signature sandalwood notes), nuts (I’d say cashew in flavour and texture), cinnamon (but not too spicy), and a sweetness particularly in the second third that is a dead-ringer for marzipan.
I recognize that many favour bolder, stronger cigars, but if you’re looking for an old world, European-style cigar, this is a match for most Davidoff and without the price tag (albeit it’s still rather pricey). A considered and warranted five star cigar – it is not going to blow you away with complexity, but it will impress any cigar aficionado who prizes craftsmanship and refinement.

I had high hopes for this cigar as I loved the Daughter of the wind line. I have to say I was disappointed. It smoked very blant, there are very minimal flavours getting through to the taste bud. The craftsmanship is near perfect and there is certainly a sense of quality with the tobaccos used but overall when factoring in the price, this is not a cigar I’d recommend.

The cigar was good. It is what you would expect for an Ecuadorian wrapper over Dominican binder and filler medium smoke. It has nuttiness and toasted wood flavor notes. Not a lot of transitions. Regardless, still enjoyable.

Another phenomenal cigar. I can’t decide if I like this or the Forrader better. This one is milder, just topping out at medium. It smoked cool, minimal pepper but a nice spice profile of cinnamon and just a tiny bit of sweet clove in the retro. Burned like a dream, drew like a pencil. I’ll be smoking more of this for sure.
