Medium plus body. Baking spice, coffee, earth, with a touch of sweetness. This cigar is well worth the money. Construction is great and overall it’s wonderful. Fantastic.

I was very surprised to see the price on this years release, as the last few years have been double. I was a little concerned that maybe the cigars this year would be subpar, but they smoke great. Nice baking spice throughout, a little sweetness and cayenne. Great burn, great draw, no complaints. For this price you’d be foolish to not try at least one, personally I’ll be ordering another bundle or two.

i picked up The Pony looking for a high-quality smoke that would fit into a tighter schedule, and it exceeded my expectations. It smokes like a much larger, premium cigar. The construction was flawless. It offered a perfect draw with the right amount of resistance and a razor sharp burn line. Flavor wise, it presents a sophisticated profile with notes of baking spices, cedar, and caramel all the way through. It delivers a full satisfying flavor without any harshness. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a luxury smoke in a smaller package!

I loved smoking the Casdagli Daughters of the Wind The Pony—one of the best I’ve had from Casdagli. It had a perfect balance of creamy cedar, vanilla, and just the right hint of baking spices. The burn and draw were flawless. Definitely a standout for me. I didn’t understand the hype but now I definitely do! Great great smoke!!

Very good morning smoke with the morning coffee. Good balance and complexity with mixed spices and a touch of pepper. And, at the price, a very good value.

I had one stick that I bought in a long list of clearance items. I will be getting a box/bundle when it comes back.
This smoke brought me to an image of peace on the Patio. Thick grass and shade, in the Summer heat. I could smell the hey. This all felt so green and moist.

The Pony is a flavor explosion. It’s got this rich, chocolate base with hints of sweetness like caramel and banana. The spices add a nice kick, and it all goes together really smoothly. Definitely complex and well balanced. I keep stocking up when I can on these.

Absolute banger for the price. Caramel, baking spice, milk chocolate and breadiness. Casdagli has easily become one of my favorite brands for their attention to detail and consistency. Grab a bundle or two, you won’t be mad!

The Casdagli Pony Robusto (2023) is a masterfully crafted cigar by Don Olman Guzman in Costa Rica, delivering an exquisite blend of flavors from Peru, Ecuador, and Nicaragua. Inspired by the poetic beauty of Bedouin horses, this cigar is a sensory journey. With each draw, you’ll encounter a delightful symphony of buttered dark toast, lemongrass, caramel, milk chocolate, and a hint of white pepper. The notes of espresso vanilla ice cream, chocolate sprinkles, mocha java, and perfectly balanced spiciness elevate the experience. There’s a pleasing charred meatiness, accompanied by nuances of black tea, licorice, cumin, and a subtle hickory smokiness. The 5×52 size enhances the overall enjoyment, making it a must-try for aficionados seeking a harmonious and rich smoking experience. The Casdagli Pony Robusto truly captures the essence of fine craftsmanship and flavor complexity. It’s me if my new favorite cigars!

I had high hopes for this cigar but unfortunately my first experience left me disappointed. It smoked like air, having very little flavor; and the burn was uneven requiring a lot of touching up. Considering the mostly positive reviews this cigar has received, I’m guessing I just got a dud. Luckily, I have 2 left and will update my review after trying it again.

On first light, I got notes of butter and baking spice. As the cigar warmed up, I got earthy gingersnaps. The complexity continues to grow with vanilla and sourdough. Charred wood build up in the final third. This cigar will be fire with some age on it.

I’ve liked everything that I’ve tried from Casdagli so this was an easy pick for me. Love the look of this cigar. Nice dark tight wrapper. Always love a good closed foot cigar. The band is very classy as well. Flavors of this are on point. Baking spice, earth and a crushed red pepper flavor. I do get a little leather as well. What a great smoking cigar. Draw is good, smoke output is excellent and great burn. I am more than impressed especially with these being as cheap as they are. I would gladly pay $12-$14 for these. Definitely another winner from Casdagli and glad Oxford keeps getting these stellar sticks to try!
