**A Unique Toro Experience**
The 2023 edition, beautifully crafted into a 6 x 54 toro, brings a distinct allure as it stands out with its round shape. While the specifics remain undisclosed, aficionados can anticipate a refreshingly distinct blend, setting it apart from its predecessors, and accentuating the brand’s commitment to novel cigar experiences.
**A Legacy of Limited Editions**
The Limited Edition Series by Cavalier Genève is a storied lineage that began in 2018. Each edition pays homage to the brand’s dedication to innovation, utilizing different blends annually, ensuring an ever-evolving and unique smoking experience.
**Exclusivity Embodied**
Produced at the renowned Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Honduras, the **Cavalier Genève Limited Edition 2023** carries an aura of prestige. Priced at $14.60 per cigar, the release is limited to just 1,948 boxes of 10 cigars. This number, 1,948, isn’t arbitrary; it mirrors the melting point of gold – 1,948 degrees Fahrenheit. Highlighting Cavalier Genève’s attention to detail and luxury, a piece of 24-karat gold foil graces the outside of most of its cigars, making it a prized possession.
**Unparalleled Vision & Craftsmanship**
Sebastien Decoppet, the founder of Cavalier Genève Cigars, shared his enthusiasm for this release: “With the liberty to experiment with any tobacco and without compromising on sourcing for continuity, we are able to craft unique cigars, sometimes even challenging to perfect. The 2023 Limited Edition stands as a testament to this dedication, and I’m incredibly proud of the outcome. As is tradition, these cigars will first be unveiled at the PCA, before making their way to select retailers nationwide.”

Needed one minor touch up to even the burn line but, otherwise, the burn was perfect. Moderate draw with a lot of smoke. The profile started with wood/oak and some creaminess (which faded during the smoke). There was also spices and some notes of sweetness. The profile did not seem to change a lot during the smoke, but the complexity was good. Overall, rather smooth. If you have a couple of hours to kick back and enjoy a smooth, fairly complex cigar, give this one a try.

Both the LE 2022 and 2023 having tasting notes of Mocha Latte, cowhide leather and gentle notes of ground cumin spice. The only difference is that I got the sweetness from smoked paprika on the LE 2022 that the 2023 does not have. I do not know if the blends are different as what is then is undisclosed for both. Maybe with age you get sweetness of smoked paprika. Time will only tell. The LE 2023 is box worthy. Given the choice, the LE 2022 is better.

This is a very nice cigar, especially the first half. The first few puffs reminded me of chocolate covered strawberries. Pepper starts to build on the palate as you smoke it, and it’s a steady increase down to the nub. The sweetness disappeared in the second half, and more of a dark rye bread takes its place. There is a nice earthy backbone throughout, and the chocolate notes stay true all the way through.

Have you smoked the Cavalier Geneve LE 2022 before? I wonder how the LE 2023 compares to the LE 2023.
