Very good mild cigar. The burn was good with plenty of smoke and needed no re-lights or touch-ups. The profile had a base of light oak and cedar with notes on the retrohale of honey and bread/yeast (if I were a real reviewer I’d probably say brioche, but you know what I mean). Right at the end the wood intensifies a bit and some pepper develops. Otherwise a very mild and smooth smoke all through. Smoking time was about 70 minutes.

This is the first blend I ever tried from these guys, probably two or three years ago. To be honest I felt it was solid back then, but it didn’t impress me enough to seek out another one. Well I tried it again and I’m not sure if the cigar changed or perhaps it’s aged a bit, or maybe my palate was just of those first few times I had it, but this is an excellent cigar. The construction was near perfect and the blend manages to be extremely flavorful while remaining balanced and medium in body and strength. If you are a fan of Atabey, Davidoff, J.London, etc. you should try this. It may not be at the level of those exact cigars, but it’s a third of the price and very very good. I imagine aging this for six months to a year may add something even further.
