This mild-medium bodied creation employs an unconventional triple-origin filler blend, combining tobaccos from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Peru to achieve remarkable complexity within an approachable strength profile.
At its core, this cigar delivers a creamy, velvety smoke characterized by prominent almond and sweet cream notes. The Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper contributes a natural sweetness that harmonizes beautifully with subtle vanilla undertones, while the Ecuador Sumatra binder adds depth without overwhelming the delicate flavor balance. Gentle cedar notes emerge as the cigar develops, accompanied by measured touches of white pepper and ginger that provide engaging contrast without harsh intensity.
What makes the Sfumato in C Major particularly special is its versatility across different smoking occasions. Morning enthusiasts praise its compatibility with coffee, where the nutty sweetness complements espresso perfectly. The smooth, refined character also makes it an excellent choice for golf courses, social gatherings, or whenever a sophisticated yet undemanding smoke is desired. Some smokers even detect subtle hints of green tea and orange zest, adding unexpected aromatic dimensions to the experience.
The 6¾ x 48 corona gorda format provides an optimal 60-75 minute smoking experience, allowing the blend’s evolution to unfold gradually while maintaining consistency from start to finish. Most of what I smoke is Connecticut wrappers. When I saw that Crowned heads made one… had to try. Like the creamy, almond flavors. Real solid smoke as the flavors really shine through with some cedar as well. There was slight pepper in this but added to the enjoyment of the cigar. Very smooth. Construction was spot on. Great draw and even burn. Another winner from CH!

Crowned Heads Sfumato in C Major, I have been bit of an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade kick recently (Sobremesa Brulee Blue, Ferio Tego Elegancia and Davidoff Aniversario Double R). And that all started because of this cigar. There was a bit of a wow affect on me when smoking it. It has a creamy medium bodied cigar that has a beautiful vanilla and spicy notes to it. The variety of different tobacco certainly adds to the complex and yet balanced smoke you get from it.
