Curivari is a sleeper brand that I think most people sleep on – their original Buenaventura line is one of my all-time favorite budget smokes for sure. That being said, I got curious with the latest of the 3 – blue, red, and yellow bands. The Connecticut (yellow) was the most flavorful out of the 3 in my opinion. Very smooth and creamy, as I look for those notes in particular with Connecticuts.

Very mild with notes of cashews and light wood and just a touch of pepper. The follow is short with hints of paper. Probably won’t make anyone’s best of the year list, but a very decent smoke and a great value at the price.

Curivari does a terrific job with construction and delivery of flavors. Not the most interesting flavors but easy to smoke with plenty of sweetness and nutty notes.

This was a surprise. When I saw the new drop from Curivari, I picked up a few to try. I’m not much of a connie smoker usually, but this one really surprised me. There is a velvety sweetness and great toasted bread notes that ramp up as the smoke builds. I went back and grabbed a full box of these, and you should too if you’re looking for a great smoke at a great price.
