The blend features expertly balanced earthy notes and a toasty backbone, occasionally accented by hints of cherry sweetness for added intrigue.
The Grand Cru’s commitment to a balanced, non-overpowering character makes it an outstanding choice for nearly any time of day—especially when paired with a complex, tannic red wine or for those who enjoy subtlety rather than sheer strength. Phenomenal smoke. The burn and draw were superb, and the flavors were out of this world good. A little of the classic earthy flavor that all Davidoffs have, but there is a cherry sweetness and a vanilla finish to this one that literally mouthwatering. It has a little bit of spice in the form of cinnamon, but very little pepper. The strength is minimal, maybe a 2 or 3, but if your not a leather tongue you will love this cigar.

I have always enjoyed them but this one is smoking phenomenal. The flavor notes you would commonly get from an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper is hints of smokey cedar, toasted almonds and earthy spices. Yes you do got those notes. What makes the Grand Cru special is the toasted almonds that is slightly sweet and bitter. This Grand Cru must have had some age on it as it smoked phenomenal.

The first puff after lighting is the stimulating cedar wood with rich creamy sweetness, which is really friendly. Compared with other models of Grand cru, the woody aroma is diluted, and the taste and stimulation are emphasized, which is slow and warm. After stable burning, there is a rich aroma of lightly fermented grains and soil, and the intensity is close to dark. Take a big puff at intervals of 40-60 seconds, and the smooth smoke and clear taste even simulate the liquid taste of milk and coffee. The pepper flavor is very light, which is parallel to the irritation of the woody aroma and is not easy to detect. People who hate pepper should like it very much. The nut and toasty aroma have a certain sense of layering, warm and refreshing after passing through the nose. When the ash is held for about 3cm, an exciting spicy taste slowly appears. The stimulation produced by the cedar base tone is the main one, combined with the aroma of spices and peppers, combined with the slight sweetness of nut cream and the mellow coffee aroma. It is so refreshing that it makes people want to recite a poem.
