Exceptional construction and burn. Nice easy draw, one of the stronger Davidoff blends but far from overpowering. Smooth, creamy notes with a little pepper. These do well with a decent rest.

This was a big disappointment. I like the Nicaragua pretty well, it’s probably up there in my top5 favorite Davidoffs, so when I saw this box pressed version I was pretty stoked. Unfortunately, this thing sucked. It burned terribly, drew terribly, and although at times I’d get a mouthful of smoke, it never tasted all that good. Cherry and bitter flavor, for the most part, and I’m surprised this one got past them. I hope one else had the same experience as me, as I assume it was just a one-off thing. Unfortunately I won’t be trying one again any time soon, because of the price point.
