We went back to our blending roots for EZRA ZEPPELIN L.E. Our vision was to make a powerhouse Nicaraguan-dominate Maduro that fired on all cylinders…strength, body, complexity, and balance—While still being sophisticated and indulgent.

It’s actually shocking how intense and complex the flavors are in this cigar! This is one of those times where I cannot do justice to a cigar with just mere words—You just gotta light one up for yourself and experience it!

EZRA ZEPPELIN L.E. is a full-bodied, med/full-strength 5.5×52 box-pressed toro. Wrapper is a luscious 8-year-old oily San Andres Maduro. Fillers are Nicaraguan but the specific regions and primings will remain a very closely guarded secret. But all tobaccos are between 6-12 years aged!

The first light is a wave of dark chocolate, molasses, tanned leather, graham cracker, cinnamon, red pepper, and honey. Blasts of burnt sugar and black pepper follow immediately. Notes of caramel, Spanish cedar, and earth appear toward the finish. The retrohale brings a warming burn with notes of Serrano chili pepper.

Halfway, more prominent creamy flavors come to the fore. The blend rounds out further. Additional flavors of raw sugar and cocoa powder emerge. Nutty notes of amoretto and hazelnut linger on the finish. The retrohale reveals the flavor of allspice.

In the last third, everything becomes even more rich and more decadent! The complexity deepens further. The coffee flavors intensify into a creamy espresso. The leather and sweet earth are complemented by cinnamon. The cigar stays cool, the burn line is a razor’s edge. Amazing!
