Love it for sure, I had two of this ones, and can say that was a great purchase, perfectly balanced, typically foundation cigars products, big mix in the taste and aroma, very enjoyable indeed.

Nick Melillo is the founder of Foundation Cigars and had a hand in the make of Drew Estate’s famous Liga Privada cigars. He has definitely not lost his touch with this cigar and would recommend it to anyone to expand their options. True, the name is hard to say though 😀

Another hit from Foundation. Very smooth, medium bodied and full of earthy flavors and spices. Don’t think I’ve tried anything i didn’t like from the brand so far. Well worth trying.

Odd name, but a very good cigar. Opens with a nutty/woody profile and develops hints of spice, citrus and a little pepper. A bit dry and I didn’t get much sweetness but, overall, very enjoyable. The burn was very good also. No complaints, recommended. Smoking time was about 90 minutes.

Nice medium body smoke. Nutty and earthy with a little bit of citrus. The profile overall is kinda dry and it lacks sweetness. I’ll come back to this one but as a change of pace. There are plenty of options for medium body aganorsa smokes and my preference is more towards the GR88/Epernay side of the spectrum. That said, great construction as can be expected from foundation

I love everything that foundation puts out. Wanted to circle back to this one as the first time I had it was years ago. This is simply delicious. Very earthy, with cedar and some faint pepper. Burn on this is great and the draw is just how I like. Love the band art on these. A very pleasing and absolutely delicious smoke. And as always a fantastic price from Oxford!

Earthy cedar is there from the start as the aged tobacco really shines through in this stick from the first drag. Baking spices and black pepper. The strength grows to medium, with more dry earth coming through. You may be able to pick up a hint of toasted bread and cookies as it progresses. Toast becomes char and the black pepper settles a little. Dry earth and charred cedar wood finish. Doesn’t exactly ‘pack a punch’ but it’s pleasing to the senses throughout. It is strong but not overpowering, with medium-full strength and medium body.

Foundation has become one of my go to companies for consistency and variety of flavours. This smoke is medium plus bodied and delicious. It is one I like to keep on hand as I find myself reaching for them over a lot of the sticks.

Very good cigar, I’ve been enjoying the foundation portfolio lately, and outside of the olmec’s this is top tier at a good price. It reminds me of eating a heath crunch bar, with a little spice on the retro. Very nuanced throughout the whole experience, I recommend taking your time with this one.

The El Gueguense tastes very similar to the Olmec Claro but the Olmec is far better. I was surprised I have not read anyone mentioning the similarity between the two cigars. The Olmec Claro is much sweeter. If you like the Olmec Claro, try this cigar and see which one suits you better.

Really enjoyed this cigar in this vitola. Construction was perfect and no touch ups. Going to try the other vitolas and see how they fare. Overall a good cigar.
