This one started out strong, really interesting flavors with a distinct sweetness that reminded me of the Bandoleros that I love. There was some molasses and chocolate, medium roast coffee and something floral on the retrohale that I couldn’t quite place. Then at about the halfway mark it just died, flavor wise. All the sweetness and floral notes I was enjoying just disappeared and what was left was pepper and dry earth. It burned and smoked well, but I was as sad to see the flavors change the way they did.

I was expecting this cigar to at the same level of craftsmanship to a Casdagli blend. While it was nice and enjoyable it just hit the level of pleasant and nothing outstanding about it. The flavor notes did not have any complexity or refinement that you would expect from a Casdagli. Regardless, it was still enjoyable. The flavor notes seemed a bit muted and horizontal. I got some subtle Habano spice notes and that was it.
