I’ve been working through some LFD cigars lately and these never fail to impress. I’m getting cocoa nibs, dark roast coffee and charred oak. I find these to be so flavorful at such an incredible price. The draw was perfect. Burn line was razor tight and great smoke output. The wrapper is very oily and lends to giving a nice leather note as well. These sticks are so flavorful and robust. I will definitely keep a few of these on hand as I feel they would age incredibly well!

La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro No. 3 Is a Sumatra heaven. Using both Sumatra for the wrapper and binder. For me this cigar is always slightly one dimensional but in the best way. You get bakers spice, espresso, sweet leather, with a touch of black pepper. The construction and draw are always good, but be careful the finish is semi short so you may puff faster than normal. This always came off as a more medium bodied cigar than full but still incredible nonetheless.

Very good stuff. Sometimes LFD can overpower me, and while these look like they might lay you down I find them to be one of their more balanced offerings, especially in the robusto format. There a dry earthiness to this but it’s balanced with a dark fruit sweetness that I love. One of my favorites from LFD.
