Medium plus body, medium plus strength, excellent quality roll and wonderful draw and burn on most all that I’ve smoked. LFD is a very well known brand for having some quite unique cigars and this one to me falls into a more traditional flavour profile with some extra kick. Just great all around.

This is an underrated cigar with a great value for money. Don’t miss it. It’s smooth and sweet, much better than the Dark Moon I smoked before.

Having smoked la nox from la flor before, I was very impressed with this cigar. The model I bought is the one corresponding to la nox, which is also the reason why I bought it. The size is relatively large, and it takes a little more than 1 hour to smoke, so if you don’t have enough time, I don’t recommend you choose this cigar for smoking. In terms of flavor, it’s medium, it’s not dizzying, it’s rich, it even draws out a little bit of Cuban cigar flavor, which is kind of amazing. All in all, it tastes great and is worth buying again.

The La Flor Dominicana Solis cigar is an exceptional cigar characteristic of LFD’s history of blending great cigars, and delivers a flavor profile that captivates the senses with its complexity and depth. From the first draw, the palate encounters an earthy tones, with some leather notes. Eventually there’s a hint of citrus and a refreshing sweetness, while mineral flavors contribute a unique and compelling layer to the overall composition.
One of the standout flavors of the Solis are rich leather notes, like a well-worn baseball mit adding a familiar and welcome flavor element to the smoking experience. This, coupled with periodic bursts of white pepper, black pepper, and maybe even a bit of sliced jalapeño, showcases the cigar’s ability to weave traditional spice elements seamlessly into the flavor spectrum.
The Solis is balanced with familiar yet distinctive flavors expertly maintained, making it a perfect choice for enthusaists seeking a sophisticated and well-crafted smoke. La Flor Dominicana’s Litto Gomez, Jr. has truly excelled in creating the Solis, a cigar that elevates the smoking experience to an art form, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to smoke this one.

This one is a winner, and a box purchase for me. There is an underlying earthy umami flavor throughout. I also get roasted nuts and caramel, white pepper, citrus peel, cinnamon, and a floral component at times. It shifts around a bit, but never in a negative way. The construction is phenomenal, stacks of ash and a beautiful firm roll. Great draw, too. Medium strength and body, a great cigar to start and end the day.

Really enjoyed this. I’ve actually had this cigar on my radar for awhile and when I saw Oxford got them I had to try. The appearance of this stick is stunning. Light brown tight wrapper. Love the band on this and that aroma from the stick is just well aged tobacco. At light up I’m getting honey graham cracker, wheat toast and an almost fig taste. To me this is a very balanced stick. Not a huge power house as for me it never got above medium-medium +. To me the construction was decent as the only thing that I may have wanted a little more of was smoke output. I should really look at smoking more LFD as I generally love everything I smoke from them. I know at least in my area it’s hard to find them locally so I’m glad I can come here and grab them at fantastic prices.
