Detailed Description
Maria Lucia stands as an embodiment of familial tribute and fine tobacco artistry. Luciano Meirelles meticulously selected each tobacco leaf, presenting a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with oily, dark character worthy of the blend’s emotional roots. The box-press format not only guarantees mechanical perfection in draw and combustion but also intensifies the subtlety and distinction of the cigar’s flavors.
Expect prominent notes of chocolate, cocoa, and robust coffee anchored by gentle floral character. Sweet oak, molasses, pepper, and occasional meaty savoriness round out the flavor progression. Many smokers notice the harmonious transitions as the cigar burns, with the core chocolate and coffee notes revealing supporting layers rather than abrupt changes. The blend excels particularly after dinner, pairing beautifully with dessert, dark roast coffee, or hearty meals.
Construction quality remains exemplary, marking nearly invisible seams, perfect draw resistance, and dense yet manageable box-pressed compression. The attention to detail reflects Luciano’s mastery, ensuring consistent burn and flavor delivery from start to finish.

This cigar is good! Don’t typically like bigger ring gauges but the soft box press makes it more enjoyable. Chocolate and cocoa all the way through.

Truly fantastic smoke. The cigar itself is absolutely gorgeous. Very well rolled, seams are nearly invisible. Dense in hand but the draw is perfect. Flavors are exactly what you want in a broadleaf. Lots of dark chocolate and savory notes with just the slightest sweetness. Flavor transitions are very subtle and don’t change very much but are wonderful from start to finish. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic smoke. Deep cocoa notes and charred meaty flavors. Burned great. Such a nice after dinner cigar. Paired well with a dark roast coffee.

From the second I lit it up, it was just… on. It puts out clouds of thick, creamy smoke and the draw was absolutely perfect. It tastes really complex, kind of savory and spicy at first, but it smoothes out into this nice woody sweetness halfway through. It’s one of those cigars where you look down and realize you’ve already smoked half of it because you’re enjoying it so much. It feels like a really premium experience. I’m seriously considering buying a box because I want to have these on hand all the time.

I’m a big fan of broadleaf cigars and this is a great addition to the collection. While some of the typical flavor notes of a broadleaf cigar are present, there are some additional floral notes I picked up that I found intriguing.

The wrapper was flawless, both visually and in construction, with a consistent burn and effortless draw. The smoking experience itself was a delightful dance between sweet and spicy. Notes of creamy cocoa balanced beautifully with a touch of peppery spice, creating a complex and thoroughly enjoyable smoke.

A solid puncher! I wasnt expecting it to smoke so well considering I bought it for the cigar band design. But it smoked really smoothly without much change throughout the stick. Its doesnt have that sweet cream taste that I look out for but definitely a cigar I wouldnt mind smoking here and now.

Really nice flavors here, exactly what I’m looking for in broadleaf. Dark coffee, sweet cocoa, and a nice peppery backbone. It burned well and smoked well, this might be my favorite from Luciano.

Great cigar. Love the box press. The draw on this was absolutely perfect. The flavors really popped for me, got that dark chocolate, coffee and molasses. I really am liking everything that Luciano is putting out. This is an outstanding cigar at a great price. Really glad I got to try this and I bet this stick would age extremely well! Definitely will look at getting more.
