This cigar had great flavor, great construction, beautiful ash and a razor sharp burn line the entire cigar. Any review that has less than five stars should be banned from smoking cigars!

Wow, this cigar has a lot to offer. It’s very tightly rolled, and has a good hefty in the hand. You can tell there’s a lot of tobacco packed in the tiny package. When cutting the cap, I had to cut twice and V cut it afterwards to get a draw that would amount to anything. The cold draw was sweet, with a hint of peppery spice. Once lit, the cigar develops some rich and refined flavors. Sweetness, baking spices, a hint of pepper, some molasses all develop and play tug of war with each other while you smoke this.
The ash was very thick, dense, and white. It even held on almost all the way to the band, something you only tend to find in really well rolled blends. The wrapper on mine cracked within a few minutes of being lit, probably because of the dense amount of tobacco rolled in this blend. I was worried at first, but the cigar held up well and eventually burned past the end of the crack. Pound for pound this cigar holds up to the heavy weights in terms of flavor, construction, and burn. I’ll be exploring more from this brand and the blender and factory that makes these. Well done!

I always like a good corojo cigar. Plus I always like trying new sticks. This was pretty delicious. I’m getting honey Graham cracker, molasses and some subtle baking spice. The construction on this was excellent. It drew perfect and smoked wonderfully. Burn line on this was tight. I enjoyed this very much and it’s a great price for this stick as I felt the flavors really popped especially at the great price point. Would definitely like to keep a few of these on hand as it would definitely make my rotation for corojo cigars in my humidor.

Nice flavors, a little barbecue sweetness, light black pepper, maple syrup, black coffee and milk chocolate. Where this one lost some points was in the construction department. The tobacco seemed to smolder more than burn, and I needed to take a few puffed each time to get it going. It also went out on me multiple times. The draw was subpar as well, which I’m sure was a connected issue. I have smoked a few others from the same order I made and they have performed fine, so I don’t think it had anything to do with how Oxford stored or shipped them. Maybe these came out a little early, or maybe this one was just a one off. I will try some others from Lure and I’m sure I’ll try this corojo again, can’t write off a company just based off one sample.

Corojo wrappers are likely my favourite non-Cuban (genuine or habano) wrapper, and I was very much interested to try a darker variant than is typically found in most cigars. Baking spices (sounds generic but their clarity is excellent), a brown sugar sweetness, a creamy body, superior construction, and a very clean finish (no unpleasant lingering flavours afterward). I expected a lot from this cigar and it more than delivered – this is a hearty recommendation if you want something that is balanced, enjoyable, and very well-made.

Really enjoyed this one. Construction was great up until the half way point where it started to unravel. Subtle baking spices and molasses were the primary flavors with a touch of graham cracker.

I got a mild, I mean really subtle allspice on the finish which made the cigar very enjoyable. If you want to break that allspice flavor notes down, you could say molasses and mild cayenne pepper. This Robusto burned nicely with no issue.

A quality cigar in an industry where everyone has a 15 dollar plus stick…..which is going to price out middle class customers eventually but anyway.
I appreciate companies that can put out good cigars at a great price 😄 and you cant go wrong with corojo and Nicaraguan tobacco
