Every Padron 2000 Natural is rolled by hand in Nicaragua, drawing on the brand’s deep connections to traditional Cuban seed farming and artisanal cigar heritage. The blend is built around sun-grown Nicaraguan tobaccos, each leaf aged for a minimum of two and a half years. The natural wrapper offers a rustic look—classic brown in hue, with minimal oil and a soft box-pressed style that feels substantial in hand. Users consistently praise the construction, citing a flawless draw, sturdy ash, and a straight, even burn.
Pre-light aroma from the wrapper and foot reveals layers of molasses, raisin, and subtle cedar, with secondary notes of fig and nougat. On the cold draw, expect an easy resistance, unveiling hints of caramel and dark chocolate before lighting up. The first third greets the palate with a dynamic mix of leather, coffee bean, and subtle earthiness, soon accented by roasted nuts and a dusting of cinnamon. Flavors deepen in the second third, as cocoa and espresso come forward, while the retrohale delivers a mild peppery zest with a nuanced sweetness underneath. In the final third, the Padron 2000 Natural maintains its medium to full-bodied character, finishing with coffee, cedar, and a touch of lingering spice—a well-defined, classic Padron signature.
Decades of enthusiast and industry reviews often compare this cigar’s performance favorably to the Padron 1964 and Family Reserve series, with some recommending extended humidor time for further enhancement. Whether pairing with bourbon or simply savoring on its own, the Padron 2000 Natural serves as both a benchmark for Nicaraguan flavor and a humidor mainstay.

These are fantastic smokes. It’s a Padron at an exceptional price. If you have a little patience and let them sleep for a while you will be rewarded. Basically take these, rest them and you have a 1964 after a couple years.

If you like a full flavored semi bold, always smooth. Try these. I had been swapping and trying many. Not any more. I only enjoy the Padron 2000!

These are incredible “humidor defenders” for the Family Reserve and 1926 lines! Solid craftsmanship, with flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, with hints of baking spices. I’ve found that these improve with a bit of age in the humidor; hope you have better luck than me in keeping your hands off of them!

It took me some time to realize how special Padron cigars are. The 2000 natural had a perfect draw and delivered consistent flavors throughout the cigar. Nice Padron leather twang with a mild pepper on the retro. I prefer the maduro in most of their blends but it was nice to revisit this in the natural for a lighter start to the day. Easily a cigar I’d buy again and again.

I’ve tried the maduro in the 2000 and it was excellent. I actually prefer Padron naturals over maduro so I gave this a try. Excellent cigar. The draw is great, smoke output is awesome. Great earthy flavors. A little spice but nothing crazy. Love the signature box press. This cigar absolutely didn’t disappoint. Great price point too. Definitely a keeper!

An amazing stick and especially so for the price. It’s all of the same great Padron construction and draws but a fraction of the cost. Mine are already smoking amazingly. Super stoked to try these things with some age on them.

One of the best budget friendly options and they honestly get better and better with age. I have 3 boxes sitting in a tupperdore and plan to keep them for a few more years.

I prefer the maduro, but these are still really good for a more budget friendly cigar.

These are my one of my main go-to smokes. Nice draw and great flavor and affordable. For the price they’re hard to beat. They pair nicely with a bourbon or rye.
