When it comes to the Padron series, a real benchmark in the industry, Padron has a leg up in that Orlando Padron grows his own Maduro wrapper. This allows them to get picky and hand-select only the best Cuban-seed tobacco leaves in their own field. The Maduro wrappers are then delivered to the trusty hands of their most skilled Cuban-trained torcedores. However, before placing them in the box, the cigars are aged for a minimum of three years of the slow, carefully monitored process.

What an awesome stick at a great price! I love these standard Padrons. My favorites being the natural wrapper but the maduro are excellent as well. Get that deep dark chocolate, molasses and cedar. These always burn well and the flavor is good. The pricing on these is what really impresses me as there is a huge value here for the price. I try to grab these whenever I see them, especially in the natural. Great price from Oxford too!

Great value for what you’re getting; solid construction, even burn, loads of dark chocolate, espresso and caramel flavors. These do improve quite a bit with age, although I have a hard time keeping my hands off of them!

It’s hard to go wrong with a Padron and this is no exception. The 4000 Maduro is a medium-full bodied dark chocolate beauty. Enjoy notes of coffee, dark bitter, sweet chocolate with some lblsck pepper and hints of leather. This stick delivers with exceptional construction and that perfect easy draw.

Very few cigars consistently deliver like a Padron. These sticks burn flawlessly in 100% humidity and pouring rain.
I typically prefer robusto/corona gorda but Padron really shines in the larger ring gage. This stick starts with a leathery chocolate. The cocoa undertones coat the palate and give a long savory finish. There aren’t a ton of transitions but the flavor intensifies as the cigar progresses. Be sure to keep something sweet nearby if your sensitive to nicotine.
Box worthy blend at an amazing price that will just get better with age.

Can’t go wrong with Padron. Top quality. This is my favorite walking cigar. Love this size. Always burns perfect. Great flavor. I always have a box or two of these in my humidor.

I prefer the natural, but in no way am I throwing shade at the maduro. Bolder pepper and chocolate, and a little sweeter. Great sticks right off the top, and even better with a few years on them.

Great smoke right out of the box. The trick is to age the 1000 series smokes and they get up there in taste with the 64’s.
