Just had the Patina Connecticut Rustic and really enjoyed it. It’s a smooth smoke, not too strong, but definitely more peppery than your average Connecticut. Picked up some earthy tones, kind of like dark chocolate, with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. Nice surprise for a Connecticut.

I’m a big Connecticut fan. This one was a joy to smoke. The flavors of this were absolutely on point. I get a heavy peanut shell flavor on this. Cedar and hay round out the flavor profile for me. It does have a creamy finish which is very enjoyable. The price on these are insane for the quality and flavor you get. I will definitely keep a few of these in my Connecticut rotation!

This cigar nailed it for me, phenomenal construction and fantastic flavors. I smoked it on a particularly cold afternoon and the wrapper split on me just a bit…but it did not affect the smoke whatsoever. I had a razor-sharp burn line and it burned clean through the crack as if it wasn’t there
The flavors were also phenomenal, very rich and great sweetness on the finish. Retro was very smooth. This cigar outperforms others that are twice the price and hit my wheelhouse of flavors. I’ve already ordered more and I can see these becoming a staple in my rotation.

This cigar is a little known gem. I have an acquaintance who is a total cigar snob. You know the type, if its not Cuban its not worth smoking, blah, blah, blah. The best new world cigars are beneath him. Anyway, I saw him post one day smoking this, and rather than rag on it, as he is wont to do, he said it was one of the best things he’s ever had. This is a guy who dogs Atabey, so I had to look into it. When I saw it was a 10 dollar cigar I had to try it. What did I have to lose?
As much as I hate to say it, that dude was right. This is one of the absolute best Connecticut’s I’ve ever smoked. It does not have the refinement of Davidoff, Atabey, or J. London, but it is still exceptionally smooth. What’s more it has tons of flavor. It’s just under medium in strength with a ton of creamy smoke output, and lovely notes of apricot, white pepper, and almonds. It’s fantastic. If you love Connecticuts you need to try this. Even if you avoid them you should give this one a shot, for the price you’d be crazy not to.

One of the best Connecticuts out there. Since I found Patina 3 years ago, they have been a staple in my smoking rotation. If you’ve never tried anything by Patina, do yourself a favor and try them out

Okay I know most people are some way about connie wrapper cigars. I, typically always gravitate to something bolder in flavour. That is until a friend of mine sent me a Patina Connie to try. These cigars do not smoke like a typical connie. This cigar has an amazing creaminess, a good pepper hit, and some warm baking spice. It is a fantastic get your day started cigar, and pairs amazingly well with an espresso, late, really any kind of coffee. I was so pumped to find out that Oxford carries these beauties and ships to Canada. This is my summer, smoke in the morning with a coffee, no one talk to me until I have finished waking up cigar. Trust me I get it, I am a BLTC gimme the power cigar smoker, but anyone that I have given this cigar to over the years, has always loved it. Check it out for yourself! @bigboyrunning22
