Fantastic smoke. I prefer the Maduro to the natural. This was an exceptional cigar as are all of the family reserves. However, I would place this as my third favorite behind the 46 and 45. 9/10

Small in size for the Family Reserve line, but absolutely packed with flavor! A bit more robust and intense than the 1926 series, with a price premium to boot, but it’s worth the extra cost to me. As soon as Oxford gets more boxes in stock, I’ll be buying some more!

Padron Family Reserve No. 85 Maduro,
This is a very well-constructed cigar that provides complex and earthy notes, with a touch of herbal and black cherry on the finish. The Padron Serie 1926 No. 90 Maduro is my favorite Padron but if you want a notch up on strength and flavor I would strong suggest the Family Reserve No. 85 Maduro.

This is a very good cigar, don’t get me wrong. But compared to my favorite Reserves this is on the bottom of the list for me. It just doesn’t seem as special as the 44,45,46, or the 40 or 80 years. Still worth trying!
