Fantastic smoke! At first light you can taste the cocoa notes right away. The draw is a little tight at first, as to be expected with a Perfecto but opens up after the neck and stays perfect throughout. Construction and burn are immaculate throughout the entire cigar. The first third is fairly mild, tastes as you would expect from a Maduro, slightly sweet but with more cocoa notes. The second third begins to gain in intensity, slight spice notes and an underlying graham cracker flavor. For the sake of posterity well call it a black & white cookie flavor. The last third, like any great cigar, is where it really shines. The spice picks up a bit and the cocoa sweetness ramps up. Every puff clings to your palate making you look forward to the next. Be prepared with your nubber because you’re going to want every last drag out of this cigar. I only grabbed a single to try out but will be adding a few more to my humidor. Overall a fantastic smoke by Viaje!
