I haven’t smoked a ton of punch cigars. They always seem to be pretty decent smokes for the price so I gave this a shot. Right away I’m getting woody notes….. toasted cedar. Also getting black coffee and some earth. I didn’t get a ton of transitions out of this stick. It burned pretty good and the draw was solid. I felt like this was a decent stick given the price. I feel the slight harshness I got in the second third could be mellowed a bit from some aging. Overall pretty decent offering from Punch.

Burns even, slow burn cigar, one you can enjoy while sitting on back porch enjoying a quiet evening. Smells nice and very nice flavor. Will buy again.

The Punch Fu Manchu cigar is a solid medium-bodied smoke that offers a satisfying experience. It’s uniquely constructed with a smooth, slightly oily two toned, dual wrapper (see photo) that’s free of blemishes and imperfections. There’s a thin thread of twisted leaf like on the firecracker style wick, or in this case, a wispy mustache. Upon lighting, the first draw reveals a pleasant and creamy smoke with notes of leather and cashews. As the cigar progresses, the flavors intensify, and hints of spice and nuttiness emerge, adding a nice balance to the profile.
The burn is even, and the ash holds firm, indicating the high-quality construction of the cigar. The draw is effortless, allowing the smoke to flow smoothly through the mouth and into the lungs. The cigar’s finish is long and satisfying, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that lingers on the palate.
Overall, the Punch Fu Manchu is a fantastic cigar that’s perfect for those who appreciate a value priced smoke that also offers complexity and balance in their smokes. The cigar’s construction is solid, and the flavors are nuanced and satisfying. It’s a great smoke to enjoy on a lazy afternoon or as an after-dinner treat. If you’re a fan of medium-bodied cigars with a complex profile, then the Punch Fu Manchu is definitely worth a try.

Price is fantastic, flavor is a bit all over the place. Citrus, pepper, chocolate, cream and mineral. Sometimes they don’t align very well at points in the stick, but when they do it’s fantastic

I’m going to say something controversial: I prefer the Fu Manchu over the Davidoff Year of the Tiger. Why? Price, for starters. But it goes beyond price. The Davidoff YotT was a one note wonder, that had little personality and couldn’t keep me interested in it. It was good, but boring. The Fu Manchu is anything but boring. The flavors come and go, keeping you interested as you smoke it. Big notes of wood, citrus, and black pepper give way to baking spices, chocolate, and sweet cream. It’s just a more interesting cigar. Is it gimmicky? Sure is. Campy? Like an old school kung-fu movie.

Good construction. No lighting issues. I’m a sucker for boxed presses. Initial light was not good. Flavor was pretty bitter. Once past the first third, it mellows out and gets much better. Didn’t get a chance to smoke down to the CT, but I have a few more to smoke when I have more time.

Once again punch knocked it out of the park.
The fu manchu is another reasonably priced and extremely amazing smoke. That rivals alot of higher end smokes at a fraction of the price.
1000% reccomend !
