Never purchased coffee from a cigar site before, but boy I’m glad I did! (Shout out to all the other recommenders for this product) – definitely swayed me into trying it. The aroma from the bag definitely has high fruit notes which is pleasant for a casual morning drink.

I am love the chocolate notes in my coffee. Zero chocolate notes in this blend. Very raspberry/red stone fruit forward. Still a good coffee and enjoyable. For those that enjoy fruitiness in their coffee this more your blend.

This is easily my favorite coffee I’ve ordered here yet. Bright and fruity with a balanced acidity, perfect for a chemex or pour over. Again my only complaint is that I got it in January and it was roasted in August. I’d sign up for notifications of when this coffee comes in fresh, it’s that good.

Love sixth gear coffee! I’ve tried one other blend that I enjoyed very much so I wanted to get into a second one. This was really awesome. I generally don’t like acidic coffee but this one with those citrus undertones really worked for me. I love grinding from whole bean and this company seems to knock it out of the park for me. Really glad Oxford has this delicious coffee to order!

I’ve been brewing with high quality, fresh roasted beans for years. Never did I think I would buy a bag of beans from a cigar company, but it was well worth it! I get a subscription every three weeks, and this bag easily blows away 95% of the coffees I’ve had over the past 6 years of my subscription. The aroma of the beans themselves is strong, with an a stone fruit and chocolate flavor on the nose. Grinding only brings out the flavor even more, letting you know it’s going to be an enjoyable coffee. The flavors are rich and robust, hitting your taste buds again and again. I drank it black, like I always do. I could drink this in a regular basis, and you should too!

-Inspection: beautiful light-medium roast.
-Brew method: v60 pour over
I’ve been roasting my own coffee for five years so I decided to give these beans a shot after hearing Lucas talk about them in the discord group. This coffee has a beautiful aroma while being brewed. The first flavor is a strong stone fruit which is accentuated by the acidic profile. Each sip gives you a blast to the taste buds that you will likely love to hate. This blend has enough power to pair well with a strong stogey in the morning. Definitely glad I got a bag with my last order.

Wonderfully pleasant coffee with great fruity notes. I make it as a pour over and it’s absolutely amazing. I generally don’t like acidic coffee, but this one just agrees with me. The blend of acidity, fruitiness, and overall strength, makes for an absolutely amazing cup of coffee. It is absolutely worth a try!!

This surpassed expectations; I’ve come to expect good products from Oxford, but I wasn’t sure what to expect from the coffee on offer – it’s as quality as the cigars. I’m a bit of a coffee snob (European coffee culture is something I grew up with!), and this is a truly special coffee – the unique anaerobic process bestows a lot of the same profile properties as a typical natural processed coffee (big fruity acidity, bit of a ‘wild’ taste), but adds a heavier, syrupy body that you don’t get in a typical natural process. Stewed fruit (definitely berries), dark chocolate (like a dark Lindt bar), and a finish of cinnamon spice that is very long. I don’t get the kombucha, but to be fair, I’ve seldom had kombucha (and my experience with it wasn’t great).
This is amazing coffee if you like your coffee adventurous – it might really throw ‘typical’ coffee fans for a bit of a loop taste-wise, but I promise it will do so in a good way. Excellent price and quality, I will be buying more.
