The burn on this little cigar was fine with good smoke and strong ash. Unfortunately, the flavor profile was really not to my taste. There was dark cocoa with leather and earth that left a bitter follow. Occasionally some hay and floral notes tried to peek through but not nearly enough to balance out the overall profile. There was too much pepper on the retrohale to really enjoy it. Smoking time was about an hour.

I thought this was a solid little stick. Got those classic sweet maduro flavors. Cocoa, leather and some dark roast coffee. Like this smaller size as it gives me about 40-45 minutes and sometimes that’s all the time I have to burn… pun intended. Great price as always from Oxford!

When I tried the first release of both of these I gave them very bad marks, cause that’s what they derived. Terrible burn and draw, ver unappealing flavors to both, very bitter and ashy. This one was slightly better, but the flavor was still something I did not love. Burned fine. Won’t be after these again.
