Wry one note and pretty dull flavor. It didn’t burn great or taste like much. But it was a cigar. Not really offensive in any way, other than the sub par draw, but just kind of ho hum flavor wise.

I really like most of what Luciano does. So I was excited to try this. This cigar started out very good. Hints of cedar, cocoa nibs and brown sugar. But as I worked through the rest of the cigar the flavors became muddled. The construction on this was good. I just wish that the second and last third were as good as the first. At a $6 price point it’s hard to complain but I feel the price point is appropriate for this offering.

While Luciano cigars have never truly wowed me, they’ve never disappointed me either. Medium bodied, balanced, with no rough edges. The key is price. That’s why this is a pretty strong recommendation.

I got chocolately sweetness notes from it like the Luciano Maria Lucia but not as intense. The chocolate notes are more subtle. Overall, a very enjoyable cigar for $6 on Oxford.
