A Celebration of Heritage and Complexity
The Villa Casdagli Toro is a cigar that pays homage to a rich family history, named after the lavish Casdagli family home in Cairo. This line represents luxury, elegance, and tradition, bringing a truly sophisticated smoking experience to the modern aficionado. Blended by Jeremy Casdagli and crafted at the esteemed Tabacos de Costa Rica factory, the Villa Casdagli line is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and a passion for unique tobaccos.
What sets this cigar apart is the special “mejorado” or “improvement” process, where select tobaccos undergo a second fermentation for up to four additional months. This painstaking method enriches the leaves, creating unparalleled depth and complexity. The Toro is a full-bodied cigar featuring a multi-national blend of tobaccos that deliver a fabulously complex and evolving profile, making every moment of the slow burn a discovery.
A Symphony of Rich Flavors
From the moment you light the Villa Casdagli Toro, you are greeted with a dynamic flavor experience. The profile opens with notes of black and white pepper, which soon give way to a sophisticated sweetness. Layers of milk chocolate, vanilla, oak, and nuts—specifically hazelnut and almond—weave together to create a rich tapestry of taste. As the smoke progresses, you may detect hints of dried fruit, coffee, and baking spices, culminating in a balanced and unforgettable finish. The aroma itself is intoxicating, promising a luxurious and rewarding smoke from start to finish.

This is a slow-burning cigar which has each third of the cigar transition in flavor and the cigars gets better and better. Discernible flavors of chocolate, earth, dried fruit, slight floral hits. Very impressive transitions and complexity.

Pretty unenjoyable cigar from beginning to end. Subtle notes of oak, black pepper, cocoa, and cherry. The Tobacco is coming from 4 different countries in the filler allowing for a fabulously complex smoking experience.
