Brebbia Pipe Tobacco
Brebbia is a legendary Italian pipe brand founded in 1947 when Enea Buzzi and Achille Savinelli partnered to manufacture briar pipes in the town of Brebbia near Lake Maggiore, with Buzzi establishing his own independent operation as Manifattura Pipe Brebbia (MPB) in 1953 and officially adopting the Brebbia name in 1968—today the company remains family-owned under Enea’s son Luciano Buzzi. While world-renowned for their hand-selected, air-cured Mediterranean briar pipes, Brebbia also offers a distinguished line of pipe tobaccos blended by Planta in Denmark, including the Brebbia Balkan Blend built on Dark Fired Kentucky, Latakia, and Oriental tobaccos for a rich, earthy, smoky flavor with exceptional aging potential; the Brebbia English Mixture No. 80 featuring Burley, Latakia, and Virginia in a classic English-style ribbon cut; and the Brebbia Sinfonia Mixture No. 23, a refined aromatic of sun-cured Virginia and mild black Cavendish enriched with natural yellow plum sweetness and a gentle orange fragrance. From full-bodied Balkan complexity to smooth aromatic elegance, Brebbia pipe tobaccos carry the same Italian craftsmanship and heritage that has defined the brand for over seven decades.
