Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Padron 7000 Natural unique in the Classic series?
It’s the only torpedo-shaped cigar in the entire Padron Classic lineup, offering a distinctive smoking experience with its tapered head that concentrates flavors while the 60 ring gauge provides exceptional comfort.
How long should I expect this cigar to last?
The generous 6¼ x 60 format typically provides approximately 2 hours of smoking enjoyment, making it ideal for extended relaxation sessions or special occasions.
Is this suitable for someone new to fuller-bodied cigars?
Yes, the medium-full body strikes an excellent balance, offering complexity without overwhelming intensity, making it approachable for those transitioning from medium-bodied smokes.
What flavors can I expect from the natural wrapper?
The dark, oily Nicaraguan Habano wrapper delivers notes of cocoa, leather, and toasted nuts, complemented by the signature Padron combination of creaminess and pepper spice.
How does the aging process affect this cigar?
Nearly three years of aging mellows the tobacco’s natural intensity while preserving complex flavors, resulting in a smoother, more refined smoking experience with excellent balance.
What’s the best way to cut a torpedo cigar?
Use a sharp guillotine or V-cutter about 1/8 to 1/4 inch from the tip, cutting at the point where the taper begins to straighten, ensuring optimal draw without cutting too much.
Does the larger ring gauge affect the strength?
With Padron, larger ring gauges actually intensify the experience rather than dilute it, as the increased filler volume allows more of their signature Cuban-seed tobacco flavors to shine through.
How should I store these cigars for optimal aging?
Store at 65-70% humidity in your humidor. While already aged nearly 3 years, these cigars continue to develop subtle nuances with additional rest, becoming even smoother over time.

A lot of times I feel like the wrapper to filler ratio on smaller cigars makes them punchier, but not with Padron! The bigger the gauge the more powerful they get! This is a two hour smoke, and every second is well spent with these bad boys.
