This line features an oily, dark Brazilian Arapiraca Maduro wrapper enveloping premium aged Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers. The result is a cigar that is both darker and spicier than its predecessor, providing a harmonious profile of rich spices, subtle sweetness, and layers of cocoa, caramel, earth, black pepper, and dried fruit. The smoke offers a satisfying volume and a slow, even burn—hallmarks of J.C. Newman’s quality craftsmanship.
Each stick is beautifully constructed, holding an ash well and emitting a captivating aroma with each draw. The flavor journey begins with cocoa and leather, introduces touches of cinnamon, graham cracker, and dark chocolate, and finishes with earthy spice and mild sweetness. Been on a maduro kick lately. Really like the brickhouse Connecticut so wanted to try this. Right away it’s dark chocolate, coffee and cedar. There is some crushed red pepper in this too. This cigar does have a creamy finish to it which is nice. This cigar may not be the prettiest I’ve smoked but it smokes exceptionally well. Great draw, smoke output is good and the burn is ok…. Had to touch up once but nothing terrible. I thoroughly enjoyed smoking this and I could see this being excellent with coffee. The price on this was a steal as oxford always has the best prices on cigars.

If you like chocolate, these are for you. Sweet notes of chocolate and coffee, thick creamy smoke. For the price it’s hard to pass them up. Get some!

Solid cigar for the price. Earthy, chocolate and black pepper flavor profile with no real transitions but I didn’t really expect many if any transitions with the price tag it carries.

Really can’t complain about this cigar with this price. It was my first brickhouse cigar but I’ll definitely try their different line. Peppery spice in the retro hale and some damped wood, mushroom and chocolate sweetness on the draw and finish. Recommended!

Great smoke. Prefer it over the natural.
