Not sure, if I would revisit this cigar due to price point. There were some notes that stood out but overall it’s a 3 star for me. Toasted cedar, coffee, salt, subtle fruit notes, but just enough on the finish.

As the cheapest series in the Byron series, I think it is still worth it. The burning is very good, but the aroma is not enough. Next time I will reserve more and wait for the effect after aging.

I prefer this over the Byron 21st century. It is less bitter and more complex. Not to mention also slightly cheaper. The construction like every United cigars are flawless. I will say I am not the biggest fan of the cigar ring, the fascial design of Lord Byron feels like a 1950s toy box.

Upgrading this to a five star review; after having a pair of these, there’s no word other than ‘sublime’ to fit them – there’s just so much going on that they really are an experience. If you’re someone who doesn’t have cigars daily and wants every time you light up to be an experience (my style!), these are well worth it – tonnes of fruit, molasses, exotic spice, sourdough. Best enjoyed with some sparkling mineral water or a single-origin medium roast coffee of some sort (something relatively dry).

It’s an excellent and unique cigar, but the price is hard to swallow.

A complex cigar blended to intentionally recreate the flavors of the older and bolder brands.

A sublime, refined cigar; you can tell that the blender was aiming for a Cuban profile, with distinct ‘twang’ that is one of the closest approximations of true Cuban terroir that I’ve experienced – this cigar is similar to some stronger Cuban brands, like Partagas, Bolivar, and Cohiba. Is it an excellent cigar? Absolutely. Is it worth the price? For the exclusivity and experience, yes.

Very full favor with a med-full strength. I was surprised by the strong sourdough notes throughout the cigar. Hoping for better considering the price tag.
