Beautiful tan wrapper with an elegantly closed foot. This one starts off mild but the flavors are interesting enough to keep me engaged. Creamy/sweet with light tobacco flavors. A floral essence follows each draw.
Probably one of the best rolled lanceros I’ve had in a while. The flavors intensify as the cigar progresses. Minimal pepper but the cream is abundant on this blend. Box worthy cigar and excellent burn line which needed zero corrections.

Casdagli cigars are amongst the most consistent cigars I have smoked in recent years. Additionally their flavours and complexity are second to none. It’s an exciting brand that utilizes various tobaccos from different regions to really take things to a new level.

This cigar is such a treat! This medium-bodied blend is a nice getaway from a lot of the pepper-forward nicaraguans I’m used to smoking. It’s such an elegant smoke and burns nice and slow for a lancero. Can’t wait to explore their other lines!

Since I found Casdagli I became a fan of the brand and of the 2 factories they work with (IGM in Costa Rica and KBF in DR), this is my first lancero from KBF and this is rolled perfectly, the flavors are so creamy with some spice to keep it interesting. If you like lanceros this is a must-try. If you have the money go for the box, it gets out of stock really fast.

The Davidoff Signature No. 2 may be my favourite cigar, but in many ways, this lancero comes very close to rivaling it; this is a refined ‘zero pepper’ experience, blended for enjoyment with a coffee of preference and I would say best enjoyed in the late morning – it lacks the body and strength of flavour to hold up after a heavy meal, but is a perfect conclusion to a decent brunch! Milk chocolate, a pleasing acidity (like you would get in a good light roast coffee or milder citrus fruits), and a noticeable sweetness. I’d call this a ‘European breakfast cigar’, and that may well be what they had in mind when they rolled it.
A judiciously-awarded five stars; if this is the kind of cigar and flavours you lean towards, you will likely not find better.

The burn was just about perfect. A minor retouch when the cigar kind of, sort of thought about going out, but was otherwise perfect with a straight burn line, solid ash and plenty of smoke. The cigar started with a flourish of salt and pepper and moved onto baking spices and bread and an amazing succession of flavors. Hints of dry earth, floral, vegetal, tobacco and black coffee came and went. It settled finally into a base of black coffee with a little bitterness overlaid with notes of salted caromel, floral and a little leather. The cigar didn’t beat you over the head with the flavors or get all up in your grill. It seemed content to just kick back and present a stream of continuosly changing flavors to enjoy. This cigar is not just good, it’s memorable.

I love lanceros, it’s one of my favorite vitolas. Casdagli cigars are incredible as a whole so this was a no brainer for me. This cigar was great in so many ways. Great flavors. I get cedar, baking spice and cashew butter. These are such great looking cigars. The wrapper is clean and tight. The band has a very classic look to it. I love when cigar manufacturers make Lanceros and make them well. Shows true craftsmanship. These tobaccos are aged perfectly and this cigar was another top notch offering from Casdagli.

This cigar is absolutely divine! The first third you get flavor notes of vanilla, cocoa, coffee, cream, cedar and earth. The cigar begins with mild and as you move into the second third the strength intensifies slightly from a mild up to a mild medium and additional flavors of walnut and light floral notes. In the final section there is a dash of pepper and a long finish.
Rumor has it that the Grand Cafe is a Trinidad Fundadores killer. With how good this cigar – I believe it. I am ALWAYS stocked with a box of Grand Cafe Lancero.

I’ve enjoyed just about everything Casdagli that I have tried. This and the DOTW Cremello are at the top for me, so far. If forced to a decision, I might choose the DOTW Cremello just ever so slightly but both these blends will always have a spot in my humidor.

Another fantastic cigar from Casadagli. Very rarely do they miss. This one is earthy and medium bodied, with some syrupy sweetness that builds up to the midpoint and then stays true just about to the nub. There is a nice spice component that balances everything out and keeps you coming back. Awesome construction, great size, and obviously well aged and worked tobacco. Keep them coming!
