Good, but not even close to the rouge version. This one didn’t have the raisin sweetness, rather it tasted a little young, especially past the mid point. Even so it was obviously very nice tobacco, and the construction was great. I bet with another three months in a humidor it would have gotten five stars from me.

This is the Matrix of cigars, to many countries and to many blends were involved. The gripe that I have is 2, it didn’t come in cellophane to potentially save from airing out the cigar and the leather notes are very overpowering. Its a bit nutty and tangy. But the leather will slap you like you bad mouthing your mother-in-law. The color is beautiful, cappuccino and the band is killer. If you like a leathery and nutty cigar with Medium body with a really cool band this is for you.
