Creamy and delicious I wish I had gotten more. Classic Maduro with sweetness, earth, cocoa. It did have a few minor burn issues but what a great value for the product.

A short, stubby little fella (3.5×50) that produces plenty of smoke and burns very well with a (mostly) straight burn line and strong ash. Initially rather peppery though the pepper fades into a mild earthiness with a little slightly bitter coffee background. This transitions into dark chocolate with hints of candied sweetness. Plan to order several more of these to have around. Recommended – a very good value for the price. Smoking time about 65 minutes.

This new blend of the Buenaventura line is a win! The BVs are great, and these Maduros are even better. From the light to the last puff, the cigar performs exceptionally well. I love the Mini BVs, as there aren’t many alternatives to the size and flavor profile that they deliver. This started with a subtle cocoa and sweetness, with a perfectly balanced amount of spice. The earthiness and chocolate flavors ramped up just a little, with the spice remaining present but not overpowering. I can only imagine that these will age well, with the flavors and strength
The small format Mini BV is great for when you need a 30 minute smoke break in the snow. For a cigar this size to stack the ash so perfectly is a testament to the rollers and blenders behind the line. Grab yourself some of these medium-full body and strength sticks when you need a pick me up mid-day.

I’ve never smoked anything from Curivari. I saw the good reviews and stellar price so I had to try. Right away I’m getting blk coffee, dark cocoa, leather and pepper. There is not a ton of transitions here but that’s ok… because the flavors on this are absolutely solid. The construction on this is real good. Draw is great, smoke output is adequate and burn is great…. No touch ups. It has a very classical looking band and the toothy wrapper is very attractive. The price on these is insane for what you’re getting. Oxford always has the best prices on sticks and this is no exception.

The Buenaventura maduro has a nice gritty Mexican San Andreas wrapper that opens with up with sweet and spicy flavors. Retro with plentiful white pepper and a finish that leaves a bakers spice profile. Ash is quite flakey but the draw has the perfect amount of resistance. This size reminds me of the Padron no. 35 at a fraction of the cost. I could easily see myself snagging a box of these to keep on hand.
