Experience luxury redefined with the Davidoff Maduro Limited Edition—a celebration of aging, craftsmanship, and Maduro elegance. More than just a cigar, this limited release advances Davidoff’s legacy with a unique blend and extended maturation, resulting in an unusually refined and layered Maduro experience tailored for discerning palates.
- Revival of the 2008 Maduro legacy – Features an elevated, meticulously adapted blend distinct from classic Davidoff lines
- Prestigious Ecuadorian wrapper – Dark, alluring Ecuador Corte #7 leaf signals the peak of tobacco excellence
- Prolonged fermentation and aging – Sixteen months of fermentation and two years of aging unlock deep-seated sweetness and complexity
- Flavor journey – Evolving profile through every third:
- First third: Dominant, refined sweetness; dark chocolate; creamy texture; hints of nuts and dried fruit
- Second third: Honeyed sweetness blends with subtle oak wood, maintaining creaminess
- Final third: Sweetness fades; spice, roasted nuts, earthy undertones, and lively white pepper close the session
- Uncompromising construction – Superior Davidoff build; flawless draw and burn throughout
- Sophisticated Maduro styling – Offers a sweeter, more elegant Maduro, distinct from the boldest traditional Maduros
This cigar is a masterclass in refinement—the sweetness is initially pronounced, then transforms into honey and oak, and eventually hands off to spice and earth for a dynamic, memorable finish. The Ecuadorian wrapper delivers not only the expected Maduro richness but also a creamy, nuanced undertone rare in this style. While robust, the profile is geared toward those who appreciate finesse and complexity, not just power.
Reviewers overall describe this as a “chocolate bar” quality smoke, highlighting its exceptional Davidoff construction, sweet and creamy Maduro character, and sophistication. Some note it lacks the raw boldness of other Maduros, praising instead its elegance and multi-layered evolution. While the price point is seen as a special-occasion splurge, the quality and experience receive high marks—especially for Maduro fans seeking something truly unique and well-aged.

Good cigar but not great. It does have a slightly heavier profile than most Davidoff blends but not the rich, bold flavors characteristic of most Maduro blends. It is an enjoyable smoke with construction and draw expected from a Davidoff but at this price point I would stick to the Late Hour.

No joke – probably one of the best Maduro sticks I’ve had in awhile… but is the price point justifiable? Maybe as a special occasion cigar… but it is a chocolate bar type of quality smoke.
