SUGAR COOKIES Special Edition is a full-bodied, medium-strength 5×52 short toro. Wrapper is a flawless Criollo 98 leaf. Binder and filler tobaccos will remain a closely guarded secret. But all tobaccos used are between 4-12 years aged!
First light is a tidal wave of flavor! Vanilla bean, brown sugar, butter, and tanned leather follow with a blast of maple wood. The finish linger long on the palate adding a beautiful note of vanilla bean. Retrohale adds a warm cinnamon burn.
As it progresses, heavy whipping cream, raw cane sugar, and candied almonds emerge. The blend continues to grow creamier and rounder with hints of clove and licorice being added to the mix.
Halfway, the flavors get even richer! Salted caramel, cake frosting, and white pepper develop. Slight hints of toffee and hazelnut are tasted on the finish. A maple syrup sweetness lingers long on the finish. So delicious!
Last third, the chocolate notes become more dominate! Big waves of sweet buttercream, bourbon vanilla, and coffee beans. Construction and burn are perfect all the way to the nub! Truly a masterpiece!

These cigars are very good, but compared to other Ezra Zion these aren’t as exciting. Very mellow and enjoyable, but at their price point they have much better offerings. Totally enjoyable, but slightly boring for Ezra.

There’s absolutely a sweetness to this, almost akin to a maple syrup, with a rich body and enough body to be noticed but not so much that it overwhelms. This is a brilliant ‘dessert’ cigar, and well worth grabbing for anyone who wants something that might pair well with a glass of champagne!
