Detailed Description
This cigar is the ultimate homage to both heritage and innovation. Each Toro Especial showcases entubado rolling—a technique known for enhancing airflow, flavor, and burn consistency—and is finished with a luxurious, reddish-brown Ecuador Habano Oscuro wrapper. Inside, an Ecuador Sumatra binder hugs fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The result is a cigar that opens with a touch of sweet cedar and earthy spice, soon unfolding into layers of caramel, espresso, and roasted nuts. Nuanced medium to full-bodied strength ensures complexity without harshness, while the Miami boutique pedigree offers the kind of exclusivity and handwork that defines “must-try” for connoisseurs.

This is by far my favorite in the Herrera Esteli line. Love the fact that it comes out of El Titan DeBronze as they roll amazing stuff. I get dark chocolate, raisins oak and dark roast coffee. The flavors on this are always on point and the construction is superb. Draw was amazing as was the burn line… razor sharp! I’m curious to see how well these age as well, that’s if I don’t smoke them all before that! Was really glad to see that oxford had these at a killer price.

Willy just knows how to blend. I almost got butterscotch out of this. Nice pepper and voffee, bakers spices… just a mouthwatering stick.

A refined, bold cigar – clear notes of nutmeg and cloves, with a distinct sweetness on the finish. Smoke output is generous, though not like a Liga Privada (despite the Herrera connetion!). This is a well-made and enjoyable cigar for a solid price, and from a well-respected blender – well worth buying a box for seeing how one Mr. Herrera does things outside of Drew Estate.
