Drew Estate is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Undercrown line with this new celebratory Liga Undercrown 10 cigars. This anniversary stick is marked with a special ribbon, band, and foot band, and tucked inside a commemorative collectible box. These top-notch cigars are rolled under the watchful eye of Drew Estate’s master blender Willy Herrera with Nicaraguan long-fillers grown on the Drew Estate farms, held together by a tasty Broadleaf binder and a dark San Andrés Mexican wrapper. The Liga Undercrown 10 is a medium-to-full bodied smoke that combines an overall tobacco sweetness, with rich notes of chocolate, cocoa, leather, and hints of warm honey.

A cigar to rival the Liga Privada No. 9 – yes, it’s that good. Compared to the No. 9 (which is quite a bit more costly), the Undercrown 10 is smoother, more medium-bodied, possesses a semi-sweet berry sweetness undertone, and very refined Dutch cocoa. It is far better than the regular Undercrown Maduro (not that that’s a bad cigar at all!). Well worth the price.

It’s a good cigar, definitely outclassed the regular Undercrown Maduro. It’s not very transitional but it’s solid all the way through. I give the nod to the Dogma maduro as my favorite undercrown, but this is still good.
