Interesting cigar. That touch of fire cured sets it apart. The construction could use some work.

This Maduro was a great surprise, great aroma and taste, a bit dry which made me had to light it up a couple times, but for this price, it´s a solid 4 stars.

The burn line, ash and smoke production were all very good, but several relights were required. The profile for me was mostly earthiness and perhaps a little coffee. There was a little pepper here and there and occasionally a note of cereal, otherwise not much change during the smoke. There was nothing bad about the cigar. It was smooth and accessible, but there was also nothing to really make you sit up and take notice. At this price the value is pretty good. Smoking time was about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. I thought the use of fire cured tobacco was an interesting touch here. Flavors were solid. Got earthy tones and with that fire cured tobacco I get an almost hickory bbq flavor that resonates here. I didn’t have a ton of expectations with this but I was pleasantly surprised with this stick. Super good price as always from Oxford.
